Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Inspection

Magnetic Particle Inspection

This inspection is done in accordance with ASME Section V and its objective is to detect cracks or other discontinuities on near the surface of ferromagnetic materials.

Dye Penetrant Inspection

This inspection is done in accordance with ASME Section V Article 6 and involves visible solvent removable methods on non-porous metal.

Ultrasonic Inspection

This inspection is done in accordance with ASME Section V.

Eddy Current Inspection

This method is used to inspect through non-conductive coatings (less than 2mm thick) or on uncoated surfaces.

Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging

This inspection is done in accordance with ASME Section V, using an A –Scan or digital thickness measurement equipment. The key objective is to identify and loss or reduction in material thickness which may or may not be detrimental to the integrity of the structure.
